Based on tourism demand, FRS Portugal will potentially add two more round trips at a later set date. Reservations are being accepted for visits since last May 26.

"We are satisfied with the strengthening of the reduction of the pandemic in Portugal, which is allowing a strong restart of the solid tourism activity in the region," said Moritz Bruns, Director of Corporate and Commercial Development of the FRS Group and Managing Director of FRS Portugal Unipessoal LDA .

“The entire tourism industry has suffered greatly in the last year. It is exhilarating to witness the rejuvenation of Lisbon once again and we are honored to offer our river tours service to locals and tourists alike as we become part of the fabric of this vibrant city, ”added Bruns.

FRS Portugal's 37-meter motor vessel Hanseblick will be used for river excursions.

"We purposely selected this ship from our global fleet of more than 70 ships, knowing that it would provide guests with a unique and magical perspective to enjoy the beauty of Lisbon," assured the director.

Day-to-day operations in Lisbon are led by Svenja Wulff, former Business Development Project Manager at FRS, who has executed several projects around the world and now moved to the Portuguese capital to take on local responsibility for the development of FRS Portugal.
